I am indebted to Barry Robbins, formerly of The Hollings who, as a professional architect maintained a special interest in great estate houses of the past and in particular Methley Hall. It is possible to walk along the top of the foundation footings where the underground level floors have been filled in, tracing the lines and size of the building but beware part of it is under a manure pile and you need permission. However thanks to Barry some of the following pictures will provide a better view of the building.
